Tracking time in Spelljammer can get confusing. The terms for time, such as day or year, have very different meanings, depending on which celestial body you are on. Some planets spin faster, and the ones at the edge of systems take a very long time to complete an orbit around their central star, or what ever happens to be at the center of their system. For this reason, some standards have been generally agreed upon among most civilized space faring races.

24 hours = 1 day

30 days = 1 month

12 months = 1 year
